MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN WILL BE HANDS-ON IN OVERSEEING AND EXECUTING MAINTENANCE ACTIVITIES TO ENSURE EFFICIENT OPERATION OF EQUIPMENT, FACILITIES, AND UTILITIES. THIS ROLE WILL LEAD BY EXAMPLE, WORKING ALONGSIDE A TEAM OF MAINTENANCE TECHNICIANS TO MINIMIZE DOWNTIME AND MAINTAIN A SAFE WORKING ENVIRONMENT

Position Details:
Hands-On Maintenance: Perform and oversee maintenance tasks on equipment and facilities to ensure smooth operations.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and work closely with a team of maintenance technicians, providing hands-on guidance and training.
Equipment Care: Oversee preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and repair equipment to minimize downtime.
Facility Upkeep: Maintain and repair facilities, ensuring a safe and functional environment.
Budget Oversight: Monitor and manage the maintenance budget, making cost-effective decisions.
Vendor Coordination: Work directly with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance services.
Safety Practices: Lead by example in promoting and enforcing safety regulations and practices within the maintenance team.
Inventory Control: Manage maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and proper storage.
Hands-On Approach: A hands-on mentality with a willingness to get involved in maintenance tasks
Qualities & Attributes:
Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and work collaboratively with a maintenance team.
Problem-solving: Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
